OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

This section provides technical and industry-facing commentary on systems that connect real-world electricity generation, verification, and digital ledger infrastructure.

The Energy Blockchain and Farad framework, protected by issued patent rights including U.S. Patent No. 11,962,710, describe a method for linking measured electrical energy to the creation of corresponding digital units recorded on a decentralized ledger. As the global “blockchain in energy” sector expands, similar architectural patterns are increasingly visible across new projects and platforms.

Purpose of this section

• To educate engineers, institutions, and industry participants on common implementation patterns for energy-derived digital units

• To document publicly observable architectures and terminology used in the energy-to-ledger ecosystem

• To encourage clarity, transparency, and interoperability as energy systems and digital systems converge

Important notes

• This section is informational and technical in nature.

• It does not provide legal advice.

• It does not make accusations regarding any specific organization.

• Commentary may reference publicly available statements, documentation, product descriptions, press releases, and technical materials.

Why this exists

Electricity is measured. Ledgers record. When those systems are connected, the result is a new class of energy-derived digital infrastructure. That infrastructure is now appearing in many forms across the world: utilities, grid platforms, energy marketplaces, sustainability reporting, and real-world asset tokenization initiatives.

Industry Commentary exists to describe these developments with technical accuracy and professional neutrality.
