LICENSING PROCESS

LICENSING PROCESS

Licensing Process

Farad Technologies Group approaches licensing as a collaborative and transparent process intended to support responsible innovation, commercial deployment, and long-term market growth.

Licensing discussions are designed to be non-adversarial, informational, and exploratory in nature, with the goal of providing clarity and alignment rather than disruption.

Step 1 — Initial Inquiry

Organizations may initiate a licensing conversation at any time by reaching out for an informal discussion.

At this stage:

  • No assumptions are made regarding implementation status

  • No legal determinations are asserted

  • No commitments are required

The purpose of the initial inquiry is simply to establish context and understand the nature of the organization’s technology or platform.

Step 2 — Technical Alignment Discussion

If appropriate, an optional technical discussion may follow.

This discussion focuses on:

  • High-level system architecture

  • Functional characteristics of the platform

  • How energy, energy attributes, or related digital units are represented and recorded

This step is informational and intended to determine whether the patented systems and methods are relevant to the organization’s use case.

Step 3 — Licensing Path Evaluation

Where alignment exists, Farad Technologies Group may outline potential licensing paths tailored to the organization’s scope and scale.

Licensing structures may vary based on factors such as:

  • Nature of the deployment

  • Geographic scope

  • Operational scale

  • Stage of development

Licensing discussions are conducted with commercial reasonableness and flexibility in mind.

Step 4 — Documentation and Agreement

If both parties elect to proceed, licensing terms are documented through appropriate legal agreements.

These agreements are designed to:

  • Provide legal clarity and certainty

  • Support continued innovation and growth

  • Preserve non-exclusive market participation

Guiding Principles

The licensing process is guided by the following principles:

  • Collaboration over confrontation

  • Transparency over ambiguity

  • Clarity over complexity

  • Long-term alignment over short-term pressure

Farad Technologies Group recognizes that the energy blockchain sector is evolving rapidly and believes that constructive licensing supports healthy ecosystem development.

Scope and Intent

This licensing process description is provided for informational purposes only.
